Mercedes Mone Remains Dominant At AEW All Out

Mercedes Mone faced another serious threat to her TBS Title as she faced former AEW Women’s World Champion Hikaru Shida at All Out.

Mercedes Mone escaped Wembley Stadium with her TBS Championship after defeating Britt Baker at All In. Mone has accepted the match received “mixed reactions” as the two women struggled to gain momentum going on second last on a long show.

Just two weeks later, Mone faced another huge title defence as she put her gold on the line at All Out against Hikaru Shida.

Mone’s task of keeping her title was made that much more difficult when Christopher Daniels revealed that her personal Brickhouse, Kamille, was banned from ringside for the match. On Collision which took place the night before All Out, Mercedes Mone attempted to gain the advantage after Hikaru Shida defeated Deonna Purrazzo.

Mone distracted Shida which allowed Kamille to attack but AEW’s Ace got the upper hand as she moved out of the way of a kendo stick shot leading to Mone nailing Kamille. Hikaru Shida then nailed Mone with the katana leaving the TBS Champion floored.

Mercedes Mone Keeps Her Crown At AEW All Out

At AEW All Out in Chicago, Mercedes Mone defended the TBS Championship against former AEW Women’s Champion Hikaru Shida. Mone had to compete in the match without the help of her friend Kamille, who was banned from ringside for this match.

The final moments of the match saw Shida go for the knee attack off the ropes, but Mone avoided it. Mone went for Mone Maker, Shida avoided it and Mone hit a chop block to the left knee. Mone hit the Mone Maker for the pinfall win.

Mercedes Mone remains one of the most dominant wrestlers in AEW with an 8-0 record since debuting earlier this year.
