Mercedes Mone Reacts To Naomi’s Shocking MITB Win

Naomi has entered the title picture again by winning the women’s Money in the Bank ladder match.

She overcame five other wrestlers: Alexa Bliss, Rhea Ripley, Roxanne Perez, Giulia, and Stephanie Vaquer.

Naomi, who currently works as a heel, is arguably in the best run of her wrestling career, with critics and fans reacting favorably.

Her transition was the result of a slow burn, culminating after weeks of build-up. She was revealed as the attacker of Jade Cargill, who was ambushed during a November 2024 episode.

The subsequent weeks saw her develop into a cynic, constantly finding herself in the crosshairs of Cargill and Bianca Belair.

The turning point in her character arc came when she beat Cargill and Nia Jax to secure a spot in the MITB ladder match.

At the premium live event, Naomi sent Ripley and Bliss smashing into two ladders before claiming the briefcase.

She later took to X and posted a picture, proudly calling herself “MRS. MONEY IN THE BANK”.

Mercedes Mone, who held the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship with Naomi, has reacted to her shocking win at MITB.

The pair shares an enduring relationship due to their time in the company. Their relationship was further solidified after both women chose to leave WWE in May 2022, citing creative differences.

Despite Mone representing rival company AEW, her bond with Naomi remains strong.

Reacting to her peer’s victory, she replied with three money-mouth face emojis, “🤑🤑🤑.”
