Mercedes Moné may have failed to add the AEW Women’s Championship to her collection at AEW All In: Texas, but her championship reign elsewhere remains intact, and her next challenger is now confirmed.

The high-stakes showdown with Toni Storm at All In didn’t go Moné’s way, marking her first singles loss in AEW. Despite the setback, Moné remains a major titleholder in the international wrestling scene and will now turn her full attention back to her run as the reigning RevPro Undisputed British Women’s Champion, a title she has proudly held for several months.

Moné originally won the RevPro title in a high-profile Title vs. Title match at the NJPW x CMLL x AEW Wrestle Dynasty supercard on January 5, 2025. In that match, she defeated Mina Shirakawa, putting both her NJPW Strong Women’s Championship and Shirakawa’s RevPro title on the line. The victory further solidified Moné’s global dominance and elevated her status across wrestling promotions.

Mercedes Moné’s Next Title Defense Set for RevPro Summer Sizzler

Moné is officially scheduled to defend her RevPro championship at the upcoming Summer Sizzler event, where she will face a newly crowned number-one contender: Safire Reed. Reed earned the opportunity after a hard-fought journey through a four-woman tournament, which was held to determine who would get the next shot at Moné’s title.
