Mercedes Mone Challenging For More Gold Before AEW Dream Match
Mercedes Mone is looking to add another title to her collection before she clashes for the AEW Women’s World Title at All In Texas.
Mercedes Mone won the women’s Owen Hart Foundation Tournament at Double Or Nothing when she picked up a major win over Jamie Hayter. That booked The CEO an AEW Women’s World Championship match at All In Texas, where it seems she is destined to finally go one-on-one with Timeless Toni Storm.
Mone is the reigning TBS Champion and also holds the Rev Pro Undisputed British Women’s Title as well as the EWA Women’s Championship, but she recently lost the NJPW STRONG Women’s Title in early May to AZM.
However, before All In Texas, Mone is looking to add more gold to her collection.
Mercedes Mone Heading To Grand Slam Mexico
During AEW Summer Blockbuster, Mercedes Mone took to social media to issue a challenge to CMLL Women’s Champion Zeuxis:
5Beltz…Moné doesn’t want to wait til #AEWAllInTexas to win another title…so next week at Grand Slam: Mexico I want to challenge for the CMLL World Women’s Championship.#aewdynamite
Zeuxis later confronted Mone backstage at the show, accepting the challenge and then laying out Mone with a forearm to the face.
