Mercedes Mone Joined By Shock AEW Newcomer

Mercedes Mone

Mercedes Mone and Britt Baker are heading for a huge showdown but now the TBS Champion has the upper hand after a huge debut on AEW Dynamite.

Mercedes Mone left Forbidden Door in New York with two championships as she retained her TBS Title and won the NJPW STRONG Women’s Championship when she defeated Stephanie Vaquer. However, Mone’s celebration was cut short as The CEO was interrupted by Dr. Britt Baker DMD who made her return to AEW after a long layoff.

Mercedes Mone tried to continue her celebrations on Dynamite but was stopped in her tracks once again by Baker who challenged Mone to a TBS Championship match at All In. Mone was reluctant to accept but it turns out The CEO had a trick up her sleeve.

Mercedes Mone Helped By Newest AEW Star

On Dynamite Blood & Guts, Britt Baker competed in her first match in 10 months as she faced former AEW Women’s Champion Hikaru Shida. Baker won the match with her Lockjaw but Mercedes Mone soon took her attention by making her way to the ring.

However, Mone was simply a distraction as former NWA Women’s World Champion Kamille appeared behind Baker in the ring and dropped her with a big pump kick. Kamille then locked Baker in the torture rack before slamming her with a spin-out powerbomb.

Mercedes Mone soon joined Kamille in the ring and the giant star raised Mone’s hand solidifying their alliance that could mean serious bad news for Britt Baker.

It has previously been reported that Kamille had been signed by AEW as far back as February 2024 but the company has waited until now to debut the star.
