Mercedes Mone Could Lead New AEW Faction

Mercedes Mone is TBS Champion but it seems she might be getting some help in the near future in AEW.

Mercedes Mone is loving life in AEW as the current TBS Champion, but it might well be lonely at the top. Harley Cameron is doing her best to engineer a title match at Grand Slam Australia as she looks to get on the card for the major AEW show in her home country.

Mone previously had some backup in the form of former NWA Women’s World Champion Kamille. But it didn’t take long for that partnership to collapse with The Brickhouse getting tired of The CEO’s patronising comments and walking out on her.

But it seems, Mone could have more help in the near future.

Mercedes Mone Starting Faction?

Fightful Select has reported that The Renegade Twins were backstage at AEW Dynamite on January 29. There is said to have long been talk about Charlette and Robyn Renegade being brought in for “integration” with Mercedes Mone.

The Renegade Twins have appeared in AEW since 2021. Charlette Renegade missed most of 2024 but returned to the ring in November of that year. Robyn Renegade recently challenged Red Velvet for the ROH Women’s World Television Title but Velvet picked up the win to keep her championship.
