Mercedes Mone Confirms Relationship With AEW Star

Mercedes Mone has a new love interest.

The Beast Mortos and Mercedes Mone recently got fans talking after the Mexican star shared a photo of himself with the TBS Champion. While the photo itself caught the eye, it was the caption reading “en tus brazos encuentro paz” that kicked speculation into overdrive.

The phrase means “In your arms, I find your peace.”

Mone has now confirmed to TMZ Sports that the pair are indeed dating, describing their relationship as “A real beauty and the beast situation.”

The CEO had previously been married to former WWE costume designer Sarath Ton, but filed for divorce in 2024, ending eight years of marriage.

Mone and Mortos are currently in Mexico ahead of AEW Grand Slam Mexico on July 17. At the event, Mone will challenge Zeuxis for the CMLL Women’s Championship.

Mercedes Mone Aiming For World Championship Glory

The good news in her personal life comes as Mone is enjoying the finest run of her wrestling career. Even before she steps into the ring against Zeuxis, Mone already holds the TBS Championship, RevPro Undisputed British Women’s Championship, and the EWA Women’s Championship.

Meanwhile, Mone will challenge “Timeless” Toni Storm for the AEW Women’s World Championship after winning the Owen Hart Cup at Double or Nothing. Mone and Storm will now square off at All In Texas on July 12.

In a recent edition of her Mone Mag, Mercedes Mone said leaving WWE in 2022 had changed her life for the better.
