Mercedes Mone Announces Return To CMLL

AEW Mercedes Mone poses at Revolution

Mercedes Mone is heading back to Mexico.

During 2025, Mercedes Mone has been on the run of a lifetime, and she shows no sign of slowing down.

This has led to claims that Mone has “creative control” in AEW, and she’s been using it to leverage her way into title reigns with several smaller promotions around the world. However, these suggestions have been dismissed by both Mone and AEW boss Tony Khan.

As her remarkable run continues, Mone will be busy in the coming weeks, which includes a return to Mexico.

Mercedes Mone Lays Out Her Next Moves

Writing in the latest edition of her Mone Mag, the star confirmed that she’ll be returning to Mexico with CMLL on October 17. There’s no word on what she’ll be doing on her return.

“You can catch me almost every single week on AEW Dynamite. To find out where I will be, visit aewtix.com.

Come see me next every week at Dynamite as well as at AEW ALL OUT in Toronto, Canada, on September 25th, CMLL in Mexico City, Mexico, on October 17th, at AEW WrestleDream in Saint Louis, MO, on October 18th, at AEW Full Gear in Newark, NJ, on November 22nd, AEW World’s End in Chicago, IL, on December 27th, and Grand Slam Australia in February!

Mercedes Mone won the CMLL Women’s World Championship at AEW Grand Slam back in June with a win over Zeuxis. To date, she’s defended the gold just once, defeating La Catalina two days after winning the title.

At All Out, Mercedes Mone will defend the TBS Championship against Riho as she closes in on the record for the longest reign in the title’s history. Mone has held the title for 477 days and counting, with the record held by Jade Cargill standing at 508 days.
