The CEO was challenged by the Interim ROH Women’s World Television Champion Mina Shirakawa. Both of their titles were on the line. The match was intense, but Mercedes Mone came out victorious, securing her 11th championship across different promotions.
Her other titles include the NJPW Strong Women’s Championship, RevPro Undisputed British Women’s Championship, Women’s Owen Hart Cup, EWA Women’s Championship, CMLL World Women’s Championship, Prime Time Wrestling Women’s Title, BestYa Wrestling Women’s Title, Discovery Wrestling Scottish Women’s Championship, Bodyslam Women’s Championship.
Mercedes Mone and Kris Statlander Teased A Rivalry At AEW WrestleDream 2025
In another major women’s title match at the event, Kris Statlander successfully defended the AEW Women’s World Championship against “Timeless” Toni Storm. Statlander won by pinfall in the singles match.
After Kris Statlander successfully defended her title, Mercedes Mone interrupted her celebration. She confronted Statlander, demanding she “get the hell out of her ring” as her match was next to take place. 11 Belts Mone! also called out Statlander for a title match at the upcoming Full Gear pay-per-view on November 22, 2025.
Then, following Mone’s victory over Mina Shirakawa and her challenge to Statlander, the two champions had another tense confrontation when Statlander came out to the ring. Mercedes Moné tried to strike Statlander, but Statlander dodged and delivered a powerful Samoan Drop. For those who don’t know, the erstwhile Sasha Banks has previously defeated Statlander at Full Gear 2024 to retain the TBS Championship.
Two more bouts featuring the females from Tony Khan’s locker room took place at the WrestleDream PPV. One bout saw Harley Cameron and Willow Nightingale against Top Gods (Megan Bayne and Penelope Ford). Cameron and Nightingale won the match by pinfall. Another women’s division match included a singles bout between Jamie Hayter and Thekla, where Hayter emerged victorious by pinfall.
