Mercedes Mone Hails AEW’s New “Goddess From Above”

Mercedes Mone

Mercedes Mone is impressed by a new woman on the AEW roster.

The official debut of Megan Bayne took place in January during the first-ever women’s Casino Gauntlet match that was won by Toni Storm.

Bayne had been under contract with AEW in the past, but she didn’t appear for years due to injuries and working in other places.

While Mercedes Mone wasn’t in the Casino Gauntlet match, Mone is the TBS Champion and is arguably the top woman in AEW right now.

Writing in her Mone Mag newsletter, Mercedes had some kind words to say about Bayne.

“Megan Bayne has officially signed with AEW, and let me tell you, this powerhouse is nothing short of spectacular! With a presence that commands attention and a look that screams superstar, she truly is a goddess from above. The moment I laid eyes on her, I knew we were witnessing the rise of a star!

“But it’s not just her stunning appearance that has me buzzing—it’s her presence she commands when she performs in the ring. Her first win? Just the beginning of what promises to be an incredible journey!

“I can’t wait to see what’s next for Megan Bayne! Will she take the wrestling world by storm and hop on the moné train? You better believe I’ll be keeping a close eye on her every move. Get ready, AEW, because Megan Bayne is here to make waves, and she’s only getting started.”

Mercedes Mone Shuts Down Harley Cameron Again

Harley Cameron recently won her first match in AEW when she defeated Taya Valkyrie on Collision.

During an interview on AEW Dynamite, Harley Cameron showed up for an interview with Requee Paquette where Harley had a Mercedes Mone puppet on her hand. After Harley mocked Mone, the real Mone showed up with her four titles including the TBS Title.

Mercedes Mone mocked Harley getting her first win while claiming she was the greatest TBS Champion of all time while Harley is just a loser and she doesn’t get to ride the Mone train. Mone went into her locker room and Harley gave her a middle finger gesture that Mone didn’t see.

AEW’s Grand Slam Australia show takes place on February 15th in Cameron’s home country, so it’s certainly possible that the match will happen even though Mone is denying it for now.
