Max Caster Blasts AEW For Not Airing Rap Referencing Luigi Mangione
Max Caster isn’t happy about being censored by AEW.
On the final episode of AEW Rampage, Chris Jericho defeated Anthony Bowens to retain the ROH World Title while Jon Moxley pulled the plug on Rampage for good.
The Jericho-Bowens match had a controversial finish because Jericho’s ally Big Bill distracted the referee while Bryan Keith wanted to hit Bowens with the ROH World Title, but Bowens’ tag team partner Max Caster took the title away and accidentally hit Bowens with it. Jericho covered Bowens for the win while it planted another seed that perhaps The Acclaimed’s Bowens & Caster are headed for a split.
Since Rampage is a taped show, AEW often edits things out of the broadcast. Former AEW Tag Team Champion Max Caster is known for doing raps on his way to the ring. Caster calls himself the “Best Wrestler Alive” while also doing promos where he is not afraid to be controversial.
In a post on social media, Caster shared what he said in his entire rap.
“Since they cut my rap again, here’s what I said. Whoever decided to chop it up is a huge p***y and has no respect for what I do and no respect for hip-hop.
I don’t mess with the Learning Tree
Chris Jericho is so high guys, I think he’s burning trees
He’s getting smoked like a Bidi
Bowens light you up like his name is LuigiYou Better worry bout your welfare
Like you work for United Healthcare
Gimme a hell yeah – wrecking you guys
Anthony Bowens and the Best Wrestler Alive”
As you can see in this clip, they only aired a few lines of what Caster said.

Why Would Max Caster Reference Luigi Mangione In A Rap On AEW TV?
AEW Rampage took place in New York City, which is also where Luigi Mangione allegedly murdered United Healthcare CEO Brian Thompson on December 4th outside of a New York City hotel.
Earlier this week, Mangione pleaded not guilty to murder and terrorism charges.
The Mangione murder has nothing to do with pro wrestling, but Max Caster is known for doing raps featuring subjects that are in the news, so he likely thought that since it was a big story in December and in New York City it would be okay to reference Luigi in a rap.
Since the rap by Caster was edited, it’s possible that somebody involved with AEW or the TNT television channel felt it was crossing a line and they chose to edit out Mangione’s name from Caster’s promo.
