Maven Reveals How Much Extra He Earned For 2004 Raw Main Event Against Triple H

Former WWE star Maven has disclosed the additional pay he received for headlining a 2004 episode of Monday Night Raw against Triple H.

Maven, best known for winning the inaugural Tough Enough competition, spent much of his WWE tenure in the lower mid-card. However, on 15 November 2004, he found himself in an unexpected main event role after being appointed acting General Manager for the night. Taking advantage of the situation, Maven booked himself in a World Heavyweight Championship match against Triple H.

Speaking on his YouTube channel, Maven revealed how much WWE compensated him for stepping into the spotlight.

“It was only $1,500 more than what I would normally make, but I had so much more on my plate, and when you’re in the main event you’re considered the main draw, one of the reasons people shelled out that ticket money.”

While the pay increase may not have been as significant as some might expect, Maven understood the reasoning behind it.

“Obviously, it stands to reason that if you’re in the main event, you’re going to make more.”

Despite the modest financial boost, the match against Triple H remains a defining moment in Maven’s career. Sharing the ring with one of WWE’s biggest stars gave him a rare taste of the main event scene, a spot he rarely occupied during his four-year stint with the company.

Why Did Maven Drink Jack Daniels With The Undertaker Before The 2002 Royal Rumble?

Maven spoke about how he drank Jack Daniels with The Undertaker before the 2002 Royal Rumble and said that he spoke to Undertaker about the spot where he would be eliminating The Deadman and afterwards Taker would beat him up and leave him bloody with a chair shot. The former Hardcore Champions said that Undertaker advised him to take an aspirin to help with the blood flow for the spot, but after informing The Phenom that he is allergic to aspirin, Taker offered him a small bottle of Jack Daniels instead and drank one with him.
