Matt Riddle Gives Latest Hint On WWE Return
A new clue has given the impression that Matt Riddle’s return to WWE programming could be coming sooner rather than later.
Riddle hasn’t been seen on our screens since the 5th December 2022 edition of Monday Night RAW. On That night he was teaming with Kevin Owens to challenge for the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championships against The Usos. They were unsuccessful in their attempt, but the worst was yet to come for ‘The Original Bro’.
After the contest, Matt Riddle was brutally assaulted by Solo Sikoa. Following a Samoan Spike, he was hit with a hip attack whilst a steel chair was around his neck. Riddle was fitted with a neckbrace and wheeled out of the arena.
Whilst this storyline allowed for Riddle to take some time off television, there was quickly speculation around the reason. Some mentioned that it was to allow him time to deal with his recent divorce, whilst others noted that it was so he could go in to rehab for a second violation of WWE’s wellness policy.
Riddle hit back at some of these reasons, stating that he’d been working on himself lately.
I’ve been working a lot on myself lately and have been saying no and setting boundaries for the first time ever and certain people aren’t happy about it, but I couldn’t be healthier or happier. Thank you for all the support.
In a new post to celebrate Valentine’s Day, not only has Matt Riddle expressed his love on the special day, but also dropped another hint that his WWE return could be imminent.
Happy Valentine’s Day to everyone and especially my girl Misha I love you ❤️ and I’ll see you all very soon #vday #misha
