Matt & Jeff Hardy Making Shock WWE Return
Matt and Jeff Hardy might be TNA Tag Team Champions but now the iconic stars have announced their return to WWE.
The last time WWE fans saw Matt and Jeff Hardy in action on TV was back in April 2019 when the pair defeated The Usos to win the WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championship. That reign proved to be short-lived and one year later Matt Hardy left the company to join AEW.
Jeff Hardy had his own exit from WWE in December 2021. He then joined AEW as well but his spell in the company proved to be ill-fated as he was suspended following a DUI arrest.
Both Hardys eventually made their way back to TNA where they currently hold tag team gold once again. WWE and TNA have partnered up to share talent so many wondered when they’d see the legendary tag team back in their old stomping ground and now we have an answer.
Matt & Jeff Hardy Heading To NXT
The Hardys appeared on the February 18 edition of NXT via a video promo where they answered the challenge from No Quarter Catch Crew’s Tavion Heights and Myles Borne. Matt and Jeff Hardy will face Heights and Borne on the February 25 edition of NXT.
That show will also see the former Ricky Starks make his in-ring WWE debut as well. The former AEW star will now be known as Ricky Saints in his new home.
