Matt Hardy Reveals His Ultimate Wrestling Bar Fight Team
TNA World Tag Team Champion Matt Hardy has unveiled the trio of wrestling powerhouses he’d want by his side in a barroom brawl.
Speaking on The Extreme Life of Matt Hardy podcast, the seasoned wrestling veteran was asked to name the top three toughest wrestlers he’d trust to have his back in a fight. He didn’t hesitate to reel off a hard-hitting list.
“If you were going to ask me to have three of the toughest guys to have my back, who would I want?” Hardy said. “I would probably say Jacob Fatu, I would probably say Haku, for old times’ sake, you’ve got to have him in there, and then, maybe Bob Holly, or even Brock Lesnar or Bron Breakker.”
Hardy’s picks represent a mix of old-school grit and modern athletic dominance. Brock Lesnar brings serious fighting credentials, having previously held the UFC Heavyweight Championship and earned All-American honours as a collegiate wrestler. Bron Breakker, meanwhile, has his own impressive amateur wrestling background as well as college football experience.
On the other end of the spectrum are Jacob Fatu, Haku, and Bob Holly are all known for their intense ring presence and fearsome reputations. Haku, in particular, is regarded as one of the most legitimately tough men in wrestling history, with countless stories of real-life scuffles adding to his legend.
