Major Title Match Made Official on WWE SmackDown Ahead of Wrestlepalooza

WWE Hall Of Famer Says The Company Spent $50,000 On Makeup For An Episode Of SmackDown

It’s official, folks. Tiffany Stratton will defend her WWE Women’s Championship against Jade Cargill and Nia Jax.

Last week on Friday Night SmackDown, Tiffany Stratton and Jade Cargil went up against each other in a one-on-one match. But the bout ended in a double count-out after Cargill put Stratton through a barricade at ringside.

Nia Jax then came in and attacked both Cargill and Stratton, sending a clear message that she wants the championship.

General Manager Nick Aldis Prevents Chaos on WWE SmackDown

This week, Nia Jax cut a promo on SmackDown, taking cheap shots at her rivals, Stratton and Cargill. Tiffy had had enough of it and came out to confront Jax, but was stopped by the security.

Cargill then appeared even more annoyed than Jade, even punched a security guard to clear her way, and rushed to throw some hands.

But SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis immediately stopped her with a stern warning before the chaos ensued. Aldis then announced that Stratton will defend her title against both Cargill and Jax in a Triple Threat match on SmackDown (September 26) next week.
