Master P Gets Physical On AEW Dynamite

There was a real blast from the past on AEW Dynamite as Master P, best known in wrestling for his association with WCW, appeared on the show.

The rap star Master P is long talked about as a former WCW star, but the rap star only actually made two appearances with the promotion. Master P’s No Limit Soldiers stable consisted of Konnan, Rey Mysterio, Swoll, Chase, and 4×4 came into being in the summer of 1999 and feuded with Curt Hennig’s West Texas Rednecks. The feud died a death, and the No Limit Soldiers fizzled out after only a couple of months.

Many fans were caught off guard when Master P announced that he’d be appearing at AEW Dynamite in New Orleans, leaving many wondering what he’d be doing at that show.

Master P Comes Face To Face With Jon Moxley

On the April 23 edition of Dynamite, Master P was introduced by Tony Schiavone to the New Orleans crowd. The rapper then introduced the new AEW Trios Champions, Samoa Joe, Katsuyori Shibata, and Powerhouse Hobbs. Samoa Joe quickly got into ‘Make ‘Em Say Uhh!’ with the crowd before the Death Riders made their way to the ring.

As a brawl broke out, Master P ended up facing disaster as he was left alone in the ring with Jon Moxley. However, Samoa Joe recovered to lock in the Coquina Clutch on Moxley while Master P got some licks in and told Joe to put the AEW World Champion to sleep.
