Massive WWE Babyface Allegedly Turning Heel

The WWE Universe could soon witness a shocking heel turn.

Last November, Jade Cargill was mysteriously attacked backstage. While she then held the Women’s Tag Team Championship alongside Bianca Belair, she was replaced by Naomi.

When Naomi was revealed as Cargill’s attacker, Belair cut her ties with her. Meanwhile, the real-life Bloodline member turned heel as she feuded with The Storm.

Last Sunday, Naomi and Cargill settled their rivalry in a No Holds Barred match at Evolution 2, which saw Belair serve as Special Guest Referee. While The Storm defeated her fierce rival, The EST of WWE did not seem thrilled to hold her hand up.

Later that night, Naomi cashed in her Money in the Bank contract and captured the Women’s World Championship. She will now defend it against Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY at SummerSlam.

Speaking on The Last Word podcast, former WWE employees Jonathan Coachman and Tommy Carlucci discussed with their co-hosts the possibility of someone interfering in the Triple Threat match to help Naomi retain her title. Carlucci suggested Belair could be that person, predicting that she will turn heel.

Bianca [interfering to help Naomi retain her title]? I think she’s turning. [16:58 onwards]

WWE Analyst Ranks Naomi’s Cash-In Among Top Three In History

On his Notsam Wrestling podcast, WWE analyst Sam Roberts addressed Naomi’s Money in the Bank cash-in during Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY’s Women’s World Championship.

The 41-year-old claimed the 37-year-old’s cash-in was among the top three in the company’s history, possibly even at number two.

I would rank, and maybe it’s recency bias, I would rank this easily as a top three cash-in of all time. And it’s probably not three. I think it might be right there under Seth Rollins for WrestleMania 31. It’s tough for me to think of a cash-in other than Seth WrestleMania 31 that I enjoyed more than Naomi cashing in at Evolution tonight.”

Roberts emphasized Naomi’s ongoing excellence in WWE, saying this moment felt earned and well-timed. “Naomi is doing the best work in her career right now. And you want to see people get rewarded for that.
