Massive Update On Darby Allin’s Injury Before AEW Worlds End

Darby Allin AEW

A new update has been given on Darby Allin’s injury status in AEW just days before Worlds End takes place.

Darby Allin has entertained and sickened in equal measures with his wild antics in AEW. Allin was sent through a flaming table during the Blood & Guts match, and he’s been nearly drowned in recent months by Jon Moxley and the Death Riders.

AEW announced that Darby Allin was in the hospital and was not cleared to compete, and it turns out, it was a relatively normal wrestling move that may have proved to be his demise. Allin was pulled from the Continental Classic as a result of his condition, being replaced in the tournament by Jack Perry.

With Worlds End taking place on December 27th, it looked like Allin would have to miss out on AEW’s final pay-per-view of 2025. But that’s not the case after all.

Darby Allin Back For AEW Worlds End

Fightful Select has reported that Darby Allin has now been medically cleared to compete, and his status led to NJPW star Gabe Kidd challenging Allin to a match at Worlds End that he thought the former TNT Champion wouldn’t be able to compete in.

However, on the Christmas Collision taped to air on Christmas Day, Darby Allin reemerged with a baseball bat, and he accepted Kidd’s challenge.
