Mark Briscoe Wins ROH Title In Emotional Fashion
Mark Briscoe didn’t leave a dry eye in the house as he stole the show at ROH Supercard of Honor by capturing the ROH World Championship.
Mark Briscoe has spent the vast majority of his wrestling career as one half of an exceptional tag team alongside his brother Jay. Tragedy struck in January 2023, however, as Jay Briscoe was killed in a car accident leaving Mark to carry the flag for his family in the wrestling business by himself.
Following Jay’s death Mark Briscoe joined the AEW roster as well as still competing on the Ring of Honor brand that The Briscoes had been synonymous with throughout their careers. The Briscoes were the reigning ROH Tag Team Champions at the time of Jay’s death but now Mark has captured another title previously held by his late brother.
