Mariah May’s AEW Status Revealed Amid Long Absence
Mariah May has broken her silence on her AEW status during a long absence, with many wondering if her future lies in WWE.
At Revolution, Mariah May lost a bloody battle to long-time rival “Timeless” Toni Storm for the AEW Women’s Title. The “Hollywood Ending” capped off a storyline that began when May signed with the company back in November 2023.
Mariah May then went on to beat Storm for the AEW Women’s Title at All In, before losing it back to her great rival at Grand Slam Australia in February 2025. But despite the storyline being met with great acclaim, May has been missing since Revolution, when that feud came to an end.
Reports have suggested The Glamour’s AEW contract could be ending in 2025, and WWE is said to know Mariah May wants to leave AEW. In the past, Tony Khan has left stars he knows are on their way out of the company on the sidelines, and May’s absence from AEW TV since March has only amplified the noise that she is WWE-bound.
Mariah May Still Has A Job
However, May has set the record straight about her AEW status…for now.
Taking to social media, May answered back to a fan who called her “jobless,” noting:
I STILL HAVE A JOB
Although how much longer that job will be with AEW remains to be seen.
