Mariah May Stuns The World In WWE Debut

Mariah May AEW

Mariah May has finally settled the speculation on her future as she has made her surprise debut for WWE.

At Revolution, Mariah May lost a bloody battle to long-time rival “Timeless” Toni Storm for the AEW Women’s Title. The “Hollywood Ending” capped off a storyline that began when May signed with the company back in November 2023.

Reports have suggested The Glamour’s AEW contract could be ending in 2025, and WWE is said to know Mariah May wants to leave AEW. In the past, Tony Khan has left stars he knows are on their way out of the company on the sidelines, and May’s absence from AEW TV since March has only amplified the noise that she is WWE-bound.

And now everyone has their answer as Mariah May has arrived in WWE.

Mariah May Brings The Glamour To WWE

On the June 3rd edition of NXT, several members of the roster were in the ring arguing about who should get the first crack at Jacy Jayne’s newly won NXT Women’s Championship. When that ended in a brawl, the lights went out, and when they came back on, Mariah May was standing on a perch as she sent a warning to the roster that she’ll be the next NXT Women’s Champion.

The commentary team were overcome with excitement at May’s arrival, but neither they nor May herself referred to her by name. This perhaps indicates that she’ll be getting a new WWE moniker just as Ricky Starks and Jeff Cobb did when they joined the company.
