Mariah May To Defend Women’s Title At AEW Worlds End

Mariah May

Mariah May will defend the AEW Women’s Championship against Thunder Rosa at Worlds End.

The 26 year-old London-born star has learned of the identity of her next challenger after successfully defending her title against Mina Shirakawa at AEW Dynamite: Winter Is Coming on 11th December.

May is now set to square off against Thunder Rosa at Worlds End on 28th December, with the event set to emanate from Addition Financial Arena in Orlando, Florida.

The cocky May had challenged her opponent to name the time and place of the title bout, with Rosa accepting the challenge on the 14th December edition of Collision before announcing the match would be a Tijuana Street Fight.

Mariah May Unconcerned By Toni Storm Return

Mariah May captured the AEW Women’s World Championship from ‘Timeless’ Toni Storm at All In on 25th August in front of over 50,000 fans at London’s Wembley Stadium.

The victory brought an end to Storm’s 281-day third reign as Champion, with the 29 year-old taking a four month hiatus before returning under her previous ‘Rockstar’ gimmick at AEW Dynamite: Winter Is Coming.

May, however, is unconcerned by Storm’s return, vowing to end her rivals’ dreams in an AEW social media exclusive after Dynamite went off the air:

“I don’t give a f*ck about Toni Storm. What happened to Toni is the same thing that just happened to Mina and exactly the same thing that’s gonna happen to Thunder Rosa.

Every single woman I step in the ring with has the same hopes and dreams and then they wish they were never born.”
