Mariah May Breaks Silence After Shock WWE Debut
Just what exactly did Mariah May have to say for herself after The Glamour made her shock debut in WWE?
Mariah May disappeared without a trace in AEW after having her Hollywood Ending with Timeless Toni Storm at Revolution, as Storm retained her AEW Women’s World Championship.
That brought an end to their long-running storyline that began when May joined Tony Khan’s company in late 2023. May was Storm’s protege before she viciously turned on her mentor, going on to win the AEW Women’s World Title in her home country at All In London. Toni Storm reclaimed that title at Grand Slam Australia before the two women clashed for the last time at Revolution.
With May absent from TV, questions ran wild over her future in AEW, with WWE looking like The Glamour’s next destination. Those questions looked to be answered on May 30th 2025, when Mariah May’s profile was removed from AEW’s website, and now we know why.
Mariah May Says It’s Only Right She’s In NXT
On the June 3rd edition of NXT, the brand’s women’s division broke out into a brawl as they all made their case for getting a shot at Jacy Jayne’s NXT Women’s Title. The lights went out, and when they came back on, NXT became a lot more glamorous as Mariah May had arrived. She was not referred to by name, however, signalling she’ll be given a new WWE moniker in the near future.
After her debut, WWE released a video featuring the star where she made clear her feelings about being in her new wrestling home:
It’s about damn time. I’ve wrestled all over the world, and it’s only right that the glamour arrives in NXT.

May’s arrival will bolster the brand’s women’s division, which in recent weeks has lost Roxanne Perez, Giulia, and Stephanie Vaquer to the main roster.
