Many WWE Stars Angry At 1 Person After Royal Rumble Mess

One WWE star has upset many stars following their performance at the Royal Rumble which led to Drew McIntyre storming out of the building.

Jey Uso shocked the world by winning the men’s Royal Rumble, booking his place in the main event of WrestleMania 41. Uso’s win came at the expense of a star-studded field that included John Cena, Roman Reigns, CM Punk, Seth Rollins, Drew McIntyre, Damian Priest, and many other top stars.

But someone in the match might have some apologising to do.

WWE Star Upsets Many In Royal Rumble

Drew McIntyre stormed out of the building as something was said to have gone wrong with his elimination at the hands of Damian Priest. But it seems McIntyre was not the only WWE star upset.

Speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer reported that one unnamed WWE star annoyed many colleagues with the belief he was getting himself over at the expense of the match:

There’s a guy that a lot of people were pissed at in that match, with the idea that he was trying to get himself over and not the match over, and he was doing things.

I don’t wanna mention his name, it’ll probably come out tomorrow because it’s only one person telling me the name, but it’s multiple people telling me that the Drew thing – he wasn’t happy. It’s not an angle. If they end up doing an angle with the person later – which there’s no hints of anything. But I heard that Drew was not the only one unhappy about the situation.

It was nothing I noticed in that match, I didn’t notice anybody trying to show off, doing something they weren’t meant to do but it was more than one person who said the same thing…the Drew thing’s legit.
