Mandy Rose Teases What WWE Return Could Look Like
Mandy Rose has shared her vision for what a return to WWE would look like.
The popular star was released by WWE in December 2022 after seven years with the company, just 24 hours after dropping the NXT Women’s Championship to Roxanne Perez following a stunning 413 day reign.
Rose was let go amidst rumours of the company becoming uncomfortable with the increasingly explicit nature of the content that was posted on her FanTime page. The venture has ultimately proven to be a lucrative success for the 34 year-old star.
Whilst there appears to be no current interest from the company in Rose making a return, the WWE Tough Enough season 6 runner-up recently commented on a potential comeback during an appearance on ‘Busted Open Radio‘, noting that it would take a significant storyline to lure her back to the company:
“I feel like, coming back, how much time does it take for people to forget things.
I feel like Toxic Attraction was such a big staple in NXT at the time. The storyline and what went on, how we meshed together, but we’re all so different. That would be kind of a cool way to get back and get the girls back in the groove as well.
I know they’ve been on TV and they are amazing women. We had something so great going on at the time and the fans loved it. I think that would be good, or something not expected because that is the expected situation.
I haven’t sat and thought about it too much. It would have to be something juicy.”
Mandy Rose Blasts WWE
Mandy Rose has hit out at WWE for not recognising a major career achievement on television.
After defeating Giulia to lift the NXT Women’s Championship at NXT Roadblock, Stephanie Vaquer has been lauded as NXT’s first double champion having already been in possession of he Women’s North American Championship title.
Rose has slammed the company for not recognising their own history, however, pointing out that she held both the NXT Women’s Championship and NXT UK Women’s Championship after winning a title unification bout at NXT Worlds Collide in September 2022.
