Mandy Rose “The Only Candy Your Mother Wants You To Have” Says Booker T
WWE Hall of Famer Booker T has heaped praise on NXT Women’s Champion Mandy Rose and says right now, she’s in “a class of her own.”
In October 2021 at Halloween Havoc, Mandy Rose defeated Raquel Gonzalez to become NXT Women’s Champion for the very first time in her career. Since then the leader of Toxic Attraction has made history by unifying that title with the NXT UK Women’s Championship.
Mandy Rose is now only days away from overtaking Shayna Baszler as the second-longest-reigning NXT Women’s Champion of all time with Baszler’s reign ending after 416 days.
Speaking on his Hall of Fame podcast, Booker T has lauded Rose and thinks she and her Toxic Attraction group are standouts on the brand:
“Mandy Rose, she’s in a class of her own man. Mandy is in a class of her own. It’s not that I don’t wanna put Mandy in the favorite five, of course. She’s high on the list, you know what I mean. I’m thinking about making a different wing for Mandy Rose and Toxic Attraction man because like I said before, that’s the only candy your mother wants you to have dog. I’m serious.”
Rose wasn’t in action at NXT Deadline but she now knows her next contender for the NXT Women’s Title after Roxanne Perez won the women’s Iron Survivor Challenge.
