The One Reason Mandy Rose Felt Guilty Over WWE Firing

Mandy Rose WWE

Mandy Rose has admitted she has unfinished business in WWE.

Mandy Rose was released from WWE in December 2022 the day after losing the NXT Women’s Championship to Roxanne Perez. The shock firing came about because the company did not approve of her subscription-based website where she posted suggestive content.

While Rose has seemingly had little interest in returning to the ring since then, at a Q&A at the For The Love Of Wrestling convention she said there are aspects of her wrestling career she still misses.

“So days like today (at For the Love of Wrestling), I will say there was a part of me when I was sitting in the ring doing the Q&A and all the fans were there, I do miss it, I will say. I said in an interview not too long ago that I didn’t really have the itch. I don’t know if I have the itch to go back and wrestle full-time right now. However, I do miss the fans, I miss the camaraderie, I miss that adrenaline rush. I’m doing a lot of amazing things and I’m so grateful for where I’m at in my life but do I have that adrenaline rush? Not really. I think that might be missing.”

Rose also has unfinished business in WWE as she feels bad about how her abrupt departure affected her teammates in Toxic Attraction, Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne.

“I would do it for the fans, I would do it for the aspect of there was some unfinished business and we really catapulted and you know, Toxic Attraction was really amazing and as much as some things didn’t pan out the way I wanted, I do feel bad a little bit and a little guilty in a sense of we had something going so amazing and I kind of feel for the girls in the group because, they don’t hold it against me or anything but, it’s just one of those things where maybe there is something in the future. So never say never, I don’t think the door is fully shut, the boots aren’t totally hung up so, you’ll just have to wait and see.”

Mandy Rose Reflects On How Toxic Attraction Worked As A Team

Mandy Rose says Toxic Attraction worked because of their differences. Specifically, the star says all three women retained their distinct looks “by design” as she didn’t want them to be wearing matching outfits like a lot of other teams do.
