Major WWE Title Match Set For SmackDown On November 7th

A title match has been booked for the first WWE SmackDown episode of November.

There are many titles in the WWE Universe, so wrestlers often ask for title shots, and sometimes they are granted. That’s what happened to Chelsea Green on WWE SmackDown in Salt Lake City.

During a backstage segment, the Women’s US Champion, Giulia, and her associate, Kiana James, were trash-talking WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton. Since Stratton is dealing with a knee injury going into her Saturday Night’s Main Event title defense against Jade Cargill, Giulia and James suggested that Stratton would lose her title. Stratton was confident that she would retain her title.

After Stratton left, Chelsea Green arrived with Alba Fyre. Green was in a Wonder Woman-style outfit for Halloween. Green said she wanted a match. After some insults back and forth, Giulia said it was fine, and SmackDown GM Nick Aldis agreed. The segment was straightforward, just a way to give Green another shot at regaining the Women’s US Title she first won last December.

Chelsea Green Will Be In WWE For Many More Years

The former WWE Women’s United States and Tag Team Champion, Chelsea Green, recently signed a contract extension with WWE that will keep her with the company for at least another five years, until 2030.

In a recent interview, Green confirmed her new WWE contract and explained her mindset about having a busy life.

“I’m directionless but not necessarily in a bad way. I came back, and I have been nonstop. I have not stopped moving and bopping from brand to brand in three years. I just re-signed. I’m so happy here and I’m okay to take a moment and fill my days and my weeks with media and traveling to represent WWE as the face.”

“I love being on TV every week, and obviously, I’m saying that, and it’s so ridiculous because I’m currently on SmackDown, NXT, and AAA in one week. I am still busy even though I don’t necessarily have a direction. I’m happy, and I think that’s all that matters. It’s not always about winning, it’s not always about being on pay-per-view.”

Chelsea Green has also made it clear she wants her friend Ethan Page to join her on the WWE main roster.
