A main event WWE superstar wants to go one-on-one with The Rock on the microphone.

The Rock is one of the greatest WWE superstars ever not just because of his work in the ring, but due to how talented he is on the microphone. Many wrestling fans would likely say that The Rock is one of the best talkers in the history of the business.

Whether he was a heel on the rise, a main event babyface, a Hollywood heel, or even The Final Boss, when it comes to promos, The Rock can truly do it all.

Jey Uso is a member of the Anoai’a wrestling family tree full of many incredible wrestlers, which includes The Rock. As the Men’s Royal Rumble winner, Jey is an elite WWE superstar who will challenge Gunther for the World Heavyweight Title at WrestleMania 41.

In an interview with Alex McCarthy of the Daily Mail, Jey Uso was asked if The Rock congratulated him after the Royal Rumble win.

‘He was busy too, but we always running. I got tired of hugging. I was blown up more hugging after than in the Rumble itself.”

Jey Uso Wants To Test His Promo Skills Against The Rock

The interview continued with Jey bringing up Rock again by making it clear that the “Yeet” man Jey wants to do promos with The Final Boss.

‘I want to get in there. I would like to go toe to toe in a promo with him. I know The Rock is good like that but I feel like I’m new school with mine, I’m really in it. I’m really out there like that.

‘Rock is very believable. He can be entertaining and all that, but I feel like I can bring some different kind of emotions from The Rock – family always hit different. I didn’t know I could do it with Roman, with my brothers, so I would like to test those waters.’

While speaking in the same interview, Jey Uso made it clear that he didn’t care if he was in a WrestleMania main eventer. Jey has already main evented a WrestleMania since he was in the main event of WrestleMania 39 as The Usos lost the WWE Tag Team Titles to Sami Zayn & Kevin Owens in the first ever tag team title main event in WrestleMania history.
