Major WWE Tag Team Match Announced For Next Week’s SmackDown
WWE SmackDown is set to be the promotion’s first show of the new year, and Triple H is planning a huge show to set the ball rolling in 2026. Multiple exciting matches were announced for next week’s show tonight.
Damian Priest and Aleister Black are set to battle it out against each other as they look to settle their rivalry at the KeyBank Center in Buffalo, New York, while the WWE Women’s Champion Jade Cargill is set to be in action as well.
SmackDown General Manager, Nick Aldis, announced another huge match for the show tonight as he set a major eight-woman tag team match for next week, as he looks to settle things down in the women’s tag team division.

Things have reached a boiling point in the women’s tag team division in WWE, with multiple teams vying for the Women’s Tag Team Championships. All major teams were involved in a brawl backstage tonight before Aldis stepped in.

He announced that The Kabuki Warriors and the team of Nia Jax and Lash Legend will team up to take on Alexa Bliss, Charlotte Flair, Rhea Ripley, and IYO SKY in an eight-woman tag match next week in New York.
