Major WWE Star Suffers Injury On RAW, Referee Forced To End Match

The ‘Last Time is Now’ tournament advanced on tonight’s episode of WWE RAW. The first-round matches concluded this past Friday night, with Penta defeating Finn Balor in the final first-round bout.

The second round kicked off earlier tonight when Gunther faced Carmelo Hayes in the first match of the night and came away with the win, despite a valiant effort from Hayes.

The tournament continued as Penta took on Solo Sikoa, who was accompanied to the ring by Tala Tonga, in their second-round match. Solo reached this far in the tournament after he defeated Dolph Ziggler in the previous round.

Penta suffers major injury during John Cena’s tournament on WWE RAW

Penta was in control of large parts of the match and seemed likely to proceed to the next round. However, he had a nasty landing after a high-risk manuever which left him unable to compete in the match.

Following assessment from the medical team, Solo was declared the winner of the match and he advanced to the semi-finals of the tournament. He is now set to face Gunther in the next round and is only one step away from reaching the finals.
