Major WWE Star Pulled From Live Events

A top WWE star could be set for a spell on the sidelines.

On the January 15th episode of Raw, Seth Rollins defeated Jinder Mahal to retain the World Heavyweight Title. However, his victory in the main event came at a cost as it was reported the star suffered a knee injury in the process and was seen being helped backstage limping heavily.

This was followed by a report that Seth Rollins was heading for an MRI, although details on his condition have been kept hidden.

Interestingly, Rollins is not advertised for a number of WWE events in the coming days and weeks. Following an update to WWE’s events page, Rollins is no longer listed for live events on January 20th and 21st. He’s also not advertised for Raw on January 22nd but is still listed for the Royal Rumble on the 27th despite not yet having a match.

The World Champion isn’t advertised for the Raw after the Royal Rumble on the 29th, or tapings on February 5th and 12th. However, he is scheduled for live events on February 3rd and 4th.

Concern Grows Over WWE Star Seth Rollins

The update comes after it was reported that Seth Rollins’ injury could be more serious than some believe. The report from Wade Keller noted that while details on thin on the ground, he feels this is because the injury is serious, surmising that if the star was okay and speculation was overblown, this would have been leaked.

It’s long been believed that Rollins will face CM Punk at WrestleMania.
