Major WWE Star “On The Cusp” Of In-Ring Return

A top WWE star will soon be back in action.

On the December 8th, 2023, episode of SmackDown Charlotte Flair suffered a torn ACL, MCL, and meniscus in a match against Asuka. Although she quickly underwent surgery, it was reported that Flair wouldn’t wrestle again in 2024.

Despite that estimate, the star is doing her best to get back on television as soon as possible.

Flair has documented much of her recovery on social media, doing little to hide the fact she’s working out in the ring. This was followed by claims she could be back on television imminently, possibly at Saturday Night’s Main Event, but the special came and went without her.

Charlotte Flair Closing On WWE Return

As reported by Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Flair is now “on the cusp of returning to the ring” following her well-documented injury problems.

The star was recently at WWE HQ for a photoshoot and “other logistical work” in preparation for her return to television. The update comes after Flair was pictured with NXT Lainey Reed while thanking her for training with her over the last several weeks.

Meanwhile, Flair’s long-time rival Becky Lynch is closer than ever to making her own comeback. Lynch recently attended an event at Netflix headquarters with several top WWE stars ahead of Raw’s move to the streaming platform.

The Man has been absent since late May after letting her contract expire.
