Major WWE Star Now Selling Merchandise Under Previous Name

Seth Rollins has been a mainstay of WWE’s main roster for well over a decade but fans with long memories will remember the star as Tyler Black.

As Tyler Black, the star was a standout in Ring of Honor and captured the ROH Tag Team Championship twice with Jimmy Jacobs before becoming ROH World Champion in February 2010. He held the title for over 200 days before losing it to Roderick Strong at Glory By Honor IX. Just ten days after that match, Seth Rollins was born in WWE’s then-developmental territory FCW.

Rollins captured the FCW Florida Heavyweight Title during his time in FCW and when NXT was formed he was the man who became the first NXT Champion in August 2012.

Three months later, Seth Rollins debuted on the WWE main roster with Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns as The Shield, and three stars were born with all three Hounds of Justice going on to win world championships in the company.

While merchandise comes with the territory of being a WWE Superstar, it is highly unusual for those in the company to sell their own merchandise even if it is under their former ring name but that’s exactly what Seth Rollins is now doing. The Black and Brace Academy – a wrestling school owned by Rollins – is now advertising t-shirts for sale that read “Tyler F’n Black”

While the move may spark speculation about Seth Rollins’ wrestling future, a recent report suggests the former WWE Champion has no plans to leave any time soon.
