Major WWE Star Discussed As IYO SKY’s Opponent At Evolution 2

IYO SKY WWE

Women’s World Champion IYO SKY could have a huge night ahead of her at WWE Evolution 2.

The second all-female Evolution show will take place on July 13th in Atlanta, Georgia, as part of a huge weekend of WWE action.

Liv Morgan suffered a serious shoulder injury, which means she won’t be part of the show, despite seemingly setting up a huge match after she confronted returning WWE Hall of Famer Nikki Bella.

The first match for Evolution 2 was confirmed when Jordynne Grace booked a shot at the NXT Women’s Title by winning a major four-way match. As a result, Grace will now challenge Jacy Jayne for her gold in the State Farm Arena.

What WWE’s main roster champions will be doing on that show remains unconfirmed, but it seems IYO SKY could have a blockbuster match on the horizon.

IYO SKY Facing Rhea Ripley?

Cory Hays of Bodyslam.net has reported that there have been active discussions in WWE about IYO SKY taking on Rhea Ripley at Evolution 2 in a match that would presumably be for SKY’s Women’s World Championship.

IYO SKY was the woman who defeated Rhea Ripley for the Women’s World Title back in March 2025. SKY retained the gold at WrestleMania 41 when she defeated both Ripley and Bianca Belair in a triple threat match.
