Major WWE Star Isn’t Retired Despite Lengthy Absence
An absent WWE star hasn’t retired.
Becky Lynch hasn’t appeared on WWE television since losing to Liv Morgan on May 27, 2024. Just days later, her contract expired, and she headed home to spend some quality time with her young daughter while turning her hand to a few non-wrestling projects.
Since then, Lynch has been rumoured to be on the verge of a comeback on several occasions, but ten months on, she remains absent. However, in a positive move for fans, it was reported in January that Becky Lynch has agreed to a new WWE contract.
But despite that contract and subsequent reports claiming she was being factored into plans for WrestleMania, Lynch is nowhere to be seen. But that doesn’t mean she isn’t planning to return.
Becky Lynch Will Return To WWE
During a new interview with Brandon Tierney and Sal Licata of WFAN Radio, Seth Rollins gave an update on his wife’s status. Rollins said that Lynch is “gearing up to get ready to come back” while denying she’s retired.
“She took a few months off. She did some television projects, and so she’s gearing up to get ready to come back. Don’t know when that’s going to happen just yet, but I mean, she is active, yes. I will not say she is retired. She’s not mentioned anything about retirement. There are future plans for her in professional wrestling.”
During the same interview, Seth Rollins said becoming a father was the best thing he ever did, even though he spent years thinking he wouldn’t have children.
