Major WWE Star Declares War On Former Partners

A top WWE star is ready for war after they were heartbreakingly betrayed by their former friends.

Despite trading the Women’s World Championship earlier in 2025, Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY have forged something of a friendship in recent months. That relationship has not gone down well in all quarters, with SKY’s former partner in Damage CTRL, Asuka, especially unsettled by it.

On the September 22nd edition of Raw, Rhea Ripley clashed with Asuka in the night’s main event. Ripley picked up the win, but the night was far from done. Asuka sprayed Ripley with her dreaded mist before taking the fight to Ripley with Kairi Sane.

IYO SKY came to talk some sense into the Kabuki Warriors when Asuka snapped and attacked her. Kairi Sane seemed torn on what to do before Asuka demanded she help take out SKY as well, which she eventually did.

IYO SKY Vows To Take Out WWE Tag Team

SKY was left heartbroken by the betrayal, but after losing to Kairi Sane on the October 6th edition of Raw and receiving another assault by the Kabuki Warriors afterwards, SKY is now ready for war.

After Raw, SKY made her feelings known in a promo released by WWE on social media:

What the hell… Kairi and I… we’re both being dragged around by Asuka again. Well, Kairi and I were never supposed to fight each other, but after tonight, it’s crystal clear. I, IYO SKY, have to take down the Kabuki Warriors at Crown Jewel. I’m going to wipe the floor with the Kabuki Warriors.

IYO SKY will get her shot at revenge when she teams with Rhea Ripley to clash with the Kabuki Warriors at Crown Jewel in Perth, Australia.
