Major WWE Star Allegedly Hates Triple H A Lot

Triple H WWE

Does one top name in WWE really still hate Triple H “a lot”?

Triple H ascended to the top of WWE as Chief Content Officer after the downfall of his father-in-law, Vince McMahon. However, many eyebrows were raised when The Rock was announced as a member of the TKO Board of Directors as part of a deal that meant a hefty payday for The Final Boss.

The Rock’s presence – or lack of – was a key talking point during the build-up to WrestleMania, with suggestions of disagreement over the creative direction that saw John Cena turn heel at Elimination Chamber as Cena, The Rock, and Travis Scott took apart Cody Rhodes.

But it seems the issues between Triple and The Rock run very deep in WWE.

The Rock Disrespected Triple H On WWE TV

Speaking on Coach & Bro, Jonathan Coachman was asked how much The Rock must hate Triple H when The Game allegedly pushed for WWE to let The Rock’s contract run out in 2004, and according to Coachman, The Rock can’t stand Triple H:

A lot. A lot. I’ll never forget that night in San Diego, we were scheduled for 12 minutes, and you know how it is, you don’t go over. You’re lucky enough to have TV time. It was me, Rock, and Eugene. I remember going over in the locker room and saying, “Rock, this feels longer than 12 minutes.”

What’s the first question The Rock asked me? Who’s in the crossover? Meaning, who’s going across the top of the hour, because that’s the match that’s always shortened. I look down and go, “Oh, it’s Triple H against whoever.” He goes, “Alright, let’s continue.” He wasn’t about to shorten it for anybody; we went 24 minutes. That is so disrespectful.

Former WWE writer Vince Russo then noted that it would have been a different story if the answer had been The Undertaker or Stone Cold Steve Austin.
