Major WWE Name Expected To Appear On Raw
A big name is expected to be at WWE Monday Night Raw after SummerSlam, even though he isn’t being advertised for it.
It was an explosive and newsworthy first-ever two-night edition of WWE SummerSlam at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
The match that kicked it all off on SummerSlam Saturday saw Roman Reigns and Jey Uso beat Bronson Reed and Bron Breakker in a tag team match. It was a match that ended after Reigns sacrificed himself by pushing his cousin Jey out of the way, which led to Reigns taking a Spear from Breakker. Jey would go on to finish Reed with an Uso Splash for the win.
That was Roman Reigns’ first match since WrestleMania 41 when Paul Heyman turned on him and CM Punk to align with Seth Rollins. Rollins and Breakker attacked Reigns on the Raw after WrestleMania, which led to Reigns taking a three-month WWE break.
Fightful Select reports that the Original Tribal Chief, Roman Reigns, is at the Raw after SummerSlam in Brooklyn. Fightful also added that Reigns is scheduled to be in the Street Fighter film that will be taping soon.
In addition to Reigns, LA Knight is also backstage at Raw in Brooklyn and will likely be on the show to continue his rivalry with Seth Rollins, the new World Heavyweight Champion.
What Is WWE Advertising For Raw After SummerSlam?
The Raw General Manager, Adam Pearce, posted a video on social media where he spoke about what the company has planned for Raw on August 4th, the night after SummerSlam.
- New World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins appears
- New Women’s Tag Team Champions Charlotte Flair & Alexa Bliss appear
- Women’s Intercontinental Champion Becky Lynch appears
- Sheamus vs. Rusev
That Sheamus/Rusev match will be their third match in the last two months. Each man picked up a win in their previous matches.
While WWE isn’t advertising Roman Reigns for Raw, he is likely going to be on the show since he is backstage.
