Major Update On WWE Star Missing From Raw For 5 Months

There’s been an update on the whereabouts of one WWE star who has not been featured on Raw in five months.

Maxxine Dupri will challenge Becky Lynch for the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship after the biggest win of her career. Dupri defeated The Man via count out and will have the chance to win the first gold of her career in her hometown of Sacramento, California.

In recent months, Dupri has been featured with her mentor, Natalya, as the Dungeon Dolls, and she still has an on-screen association with fellow American Alpha member, Akira Tozawa. Notably absent from the group has been the other member, former Raw Tag Team Champion Otis.

The last time Otis was featured in a match on Raw was all the way back in May 2025, when he was defeated by Rusev in the Bulgarian Brute’s first match back in WWE. Since then, Otis has only competed in the ring on three occasions, and nobody really knows why.

Otis Is Missing In WWE

Sean Ross Sapp noted on a Fightful Q&A that Otis had an elbow scope completed earlier in 2025, but returned to the ring in AAA since then and was then relegated to appearing on Main Event. Sapp noted that he does not believe Otis is currently injured, and there’s no real explanation for why he’s not been in a match on Raw in 5 months.

Otis made his name in NXT as one-half of the Heavy Machinery tag team with Tucker. The two men joined the WWE main roster together, and Otis found his greatest success when he captured the men’s Money In The Bank in 2020. A romantic storyline featuring Mandy Rose soon followed, but eventually everything fell to pieces when Tucker betrayed his friend and cost him his Money In The Bank contract in favour of The Miz.

Otis put all that behind him when he formed Alpha Academy with Chad Gable, and the pair won the Raw Tag Team Title from RK-Bro in January 2022.
