Major Update On Roman Reigns’ WWE Return
Roman Reigns is still missing from WWE, and it seems his return won’t be at one of the company’s biggest shows of the year.
Roman Reigns and CM Punk were both screwed at WrestleMania 41 by Paul Heyman. Heyman betrayed both men to forge his new alliance with Seth Rollins, who picked up the win in the night one main event.
Since then, questions have hung over Reigns’ return while CM Punk and Seth Rollins continue to be at each other’s throats on Monday Night Raw.
But it seems whatever WWE’s plans for Roman Reigns are, he won’t be making his return to the company at the first two-night SummerSlam in August.
No Roman Reigns Return At SummerSlam
Speaking on his Q&A, WrestleVotes reported that although Roman Reigns has been discussed in WWE circles recently, it doesn’t seem like he’ll be back at SummerSlam:
We reported that last week that he’s due back imminently. His name has been floated [sic] around on documents. That’s where we can leave it. But I’d imagine it’s not a SummerSlam return. That’s the best I can say right now. I’d imagine going into SummerSlam, people will know what he’s doing.
All that is known about SummerSlam so far is that the King of the Ring Cody Rhodes will challenge for the WWE Championship and Queen of the Ring Jade Cargill will challenge for the WWE Women’s Title.
