Major Update On WWE Plans For Big E’s Return

Big E with Intercontinental Championship

A new report has indicated that Big E could be on his way back to WWE sooner than later as he is set to be a part of the upcoming draft.

The New Day star has been out of action since March 2022 after suffering a broken neck during a match on SmackDown. The star suffered the injury after Ridge Holland attempted an overhead belly-to-belly suplex on Big E on the outside of the ring but The New Day star didn’t rotate properly and instead landed hard on top of his head in one of WWE’s most frightening moments of recent years.

Now WRKD Wrestling has reported that despite his continued absence, the former WWE Champion could be part of the upcoming draft, indicating that a return could be on the horizon:

“One name rumored to return during the upcoming draft is former WWE champion, Big E. Big E has been sidelined with a major neck injury since March ‘22.”

A previous report noted that Big E could be reunited with his New Day teammates Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston when he makes his comeback as the trio might be faced with a huge rivalry.

While it remains uncertain when the big star will return to action, the star recently gave an update on his condition after undergoing his one-year scan.
