Major TNA Star Gets NXT Title Shot At Upcoming PLE

Oba Femi NXT Champion

A big-name TNA star will get his chance to win the NXT Championship as Oba Femi confirms a huge title match.

Oba Femi retained his NXT Championship at Vengeance Day but the real story came after that match. Femi was attacked by a mysterious group whose vignettes had aired in the lead-up to that show.

On the following edition of NXT, Oba Femi came to the ring to talk about that attack but he was soon interrupted by, to the shock of everyone, TNA X-Division Champion Moose.

WWE and TNA have been in partnership in recent months but this was the first time Moose has appeared in WWE during his career. Moose told Oba Femi he was the only man that Femi could not rule over and noted that a match between the pair had to happen. Both men held up their respective titles as the segment ended.

Oba Femi Defending NXT Title Against Moose

Oba Femi appeared on TNA Impact to fight off Moose and The System leading to a huge six-man tag team match featuring Moose’s group taking on Oba Femi and The Hardys.

Now on the February 25 edition of NXT, after Moose successfully defended his TNA X-Division Title against Lexis King, Oba Femi showed up once again. Femi confirmed that he’ll put his NXT Title on the line against the TNA star at WWE Roadblock on March 11 at The Theater at Madison Square Garden.
