Dominik Mysterio is now set to defend the Intercontinental Championship tonight at Money in the Bank.

WWE initially announced four matches for Money in the Bank. As the Men and Women would compete for their respective Money in the Bank briefcases, Becky Lynch will challenge Lyra Valkyria for the Women’s Intercontinental Championship.

Meanwhile, Logan Paul will team up with the WWE Champion John Cena in a huge tag team match against Cody Rhodes and the World Heavyweight Champion Jey Uso.

A fifth match was added to the card for tonight’s premium live event when the Intercontinental Champion Dominik Mysterio challenged Octagon Jr. at Worlds Collide.

After Octagon Jr., Aero Star, and Mr. Iguana defeated LWO and Lince Dorado at Worlds Collide, Dirty Dom took the mic to take several shots at the former AAA Latin American Championship for being a fan of his “deadbeat” father, Rey Mysterio.

The verbal altercation eventually turned physical between the two stars. After referees separated the two, the Intercontinental Champion told Octagon Jr. that he would see him at Money in the Bank and would put his title on the line.

Will Dominik Mysterio’s 45-day title reign end at WWE Money in the Bank 2025?

Dominik Mysterio captured the Intercontinental Championship at WrestleMania after beating Bron Breakker, Penta, and Finn Balor in a Fatal 4-Way match.

The 28-year-old has since successfully defended the title twice against Penta on Monday Night RAW and Backlash.

It would be interesting to see if the Judgment Day member’s reign would come to an end tonight at the hands of Octagon Jr.
