Major Stars Reveals What WWE Can Offer Kazuchika Okada

Kazuchika Okada makes his entrance at Forbidden Door

What can WWE offer Kazuchika Okada?

Kazuchika Okada officially became a free agent on February 1st, 2024, and in the process became one of the most in-demand stars on the planet.

Both WWE and AEW are known to be chasing the former NJPW star’s signature, with Shinsuke Nakamura’s recent push reportedly part of WWE’s pitch to The Rainmaker.

Intercontinental Champion Gunther is a well-known fan of Japanese wrestling and would welcome Okada to WWE with open arms. Speaking in a new interview with Nick Hausman, the Austrian star said Okada would find “great competition” in WWE should he sign with the sports entertainment giant.

“I think Okada is fantastic,” he began. “I always love Japanese wrestling. When I grew up in professional wrestling, understanding everything, I always enjoyed Japanese wrestling the most.

I was more of an All Japan guy than a New Japan guy, to be honest. But yeah, he’s one of the best in the world, and if he joins WWE, he’s very welcome to, and I think he finds great competition here.”

Kazuchika Okada Holds Talks With WWE

A recent report revealed that Kazuchika Okada has held talks with WWE, but no creative plans have been drawn up.

By contrast, for the last month, AEW has remained confident of landing his signature, so much so that “tentative” plans for a debut well over a month from now were drawn up. Furthermore, AEW is said to have made a “substantial offer.”

Some WWE fans believe Okada could be on the way following the airing of the “three faces” vignette, which many think ties in with a Japanese parable.
