Major Star Expected At WWE Royal Rumble (Spoiler)

A huge WWE star is heading to Indianapolis.

Becky Lynch hasn’t been seen on WWE television since being defeated by Liv Morgan on the May 27, 2024 edition of Monday Night Raw. Just days later, Lynch allowed her contract to expire and she became a free agent, beginning a lengthy hiatus.

But seven months on, a comeback seems closer than ever.

In early January it was reported that Becky Lynch had agreed to a new contract with WWE, giving the biggest hint yet that she’s preparing to resume her wrestling career. Terms of the new deal are yet to become public. At the same time, the company is said to have big plans for the star heading into WrestleMania, plans that might kick off very soon.

As reported by Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Lynch is scheduled to be at the Royal Rumble on February 1st. However, this isn’t confirmation that the star will be competing in the Women’s Rumble Match.

That being said, that would appear to be the most likely scenario.

Charlotte Flair To Make WWE Return

On the January 24th edition of SmackDown, it was announced that Charlotte Flair would be taking part in the Women’s Royal Rumble match. In recent weeks, vignettes have begun to air hyping Flair’s comeback, while the star herself has steadily been dropping hints on social media.

The former Women’s Champion has been out of action since suffering a major knee injury in a match against Asuka in December 2023.
