Major Star Casts Doubt On WWE Future
Could one of WWE’s biggest names really leave the company?
In recent months, speculation around Kevin Owens has kicked into a new gear. Owens publicly reminded fans his current contract expires in early 2025, and suggested no negotiations had taken place.
Despite this, the star was believed to be close to agreeing a new deal in October, while another report claimed Kevin Owens had secretly signed a new contract.
No matter the reports, the man himself is keeping people guessing.
During an interview with Alex McCarthy for the Daily Mail, Owens was asked bout WWE’s pre-WrestleMania European tour in 2025 and whether he’ll be around.
The star was careful not to give a definitive answer but suggested “nothing has been sorted” regarding the shows — hinting his future isn’t yet secure.
I don’t think anything is sorted for those shows yet, obviously knowing WWE and knowing how important this is being made for everyone here, this is clearly a big deal to them. Hitting all these European towns and cities back-to-back for three weeks in a row with TV there and big live events. It is a big deal.
Owens was then asked what’s important to him at this stage of the game and how that impacts talks on his future.
I just want to be happy, but I can’t tell you what that means exactly, because I don’t actually know it either. I just want to feel fulfilled. There is a lot that goes into that. It is more intricate than we have time to get into.
Kevin Owens Causes WWE Chaos
After failing to win the Undisputed WWE Title at Saturday Night’s Main Event, Kevin Owens attacked Cody Rhodes after the show went off the air.
During the attack, Owens delivered a Package Piledriver, causing Rhodes to be taken away on a stretcher. But that’s not all.
As he made his way backstage, Owens was confronted by Triple H, and the pair got into a shoving match and exchanged angry words before going their separate ways.
