Major Star Is Allegedly Above All WWE Locker Room, Including John Cena
A WWE personality has made an astounding claim about a superstar.
According to Sam Roberts of NotSam Wrestling, Roman Reigns is allegedly superior to all wrestlers within the promotion, including John Cena.
Reigns returned to WWE RAW on the July 14 episode, much to the shock of everyone at the Legacy Arena in Birmingham, Alabama.
His feud with Seth Rollins’ faction then culminated in a tag team match, where he paired with Jey Uso to defeat Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed at SummerSlam.
During the latest episode of his podcast, Roberts was asked by a fan about Roman Reigns’ absence from the WWE: Unreal docuseries.
The fan also wondered if it was intentional and likened it to NBA legend Michael Jordan, who did not “babyface” with his opponents.
I noticed it. I saw it the exact same way. I didn’t equate it with Michael Jordan, but I absolutely agree with you and equate it with Michael Jordan now.
I think that the whole Roman Reigns character is Michael Jordan in ’96, ’97, where it’s like he’s above it all. All, like, “The rest of you guys are doing Unreal, even John Cena…I don’t do that. The rest of you guys are watching each other’s matches in Gorilla, I don’t do that.”
Roman Reigns, more than any other wrestler in professional wrestling, that character is about one thing and it’s standing on business. [52:07 onwards]
Roman Reigns’ Next WWE Appearance Confirmed
Initially, Roman Reigns was reported to have been written off TV after he suffered his decimation at the hands of Seth Rollins’ faction on the August 4 episode of RAW.
The six-time world champion is scheduled for another hiatus due to his filming commitments to the Street Fighter movie.
However, that will have to wait, it seems.
It was later confirmed that The Tribal Chief will be present at the August 18 taping of WWE RAW, potentially addressing the recent attack on him.
Fans will also get an insight into his match at the Clash in Paris PLE, scheduled for August 31.
