Major Return Set For WWE Bad Blood?

Triple H holding a WWE ticket

Pat McAfee and Cody Rhodes have got fans talking ahead of WWE Bad Blood.

On October 5th at Bad Blood, Roman Reigns will return to the ring for the first time since WrestleMania 40 to team with Cody Rhodes. Despite their heated rivalry, the pair have reached something of an uneasy truce to battle Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu of The Bloodline.

However, it seems the action in the ring will only be part of the story.

During an appearance on The Pat McAfee Show, Cody Rhodes said there will be a video package or a vignette coming at Bad Blood with “big title implications.” Crown Jewel is set to take place on November 2nd in Saudi Arabia. Although there haven’t been any official announcements, Roman Reigns usually appears at events in the kingdom.

More Surprises At WWE Bad Blood?

While that is already a tease and a half, Rhodes and McAfee decided to step the speculation up yet another notch. The American Nightmare posted a short clip on Instagram of him thanking McAfee and his team after the interview which included the following interaction.

Pat McAfee: The big guy’s coming back this week.

Cody Rhodes: Is he?

PM: You tell me.

CR. Which one?

PM: Okay. Awesome. I don’t know. You told me enough. You just told me enough.

CR: A lot happening. Too much happening.

Unsurprisingly, the rumour mill has gone into overdrive with predicting the returns of everyone from Paul Heyman to The Rock. While there’s no word on who “the big guy” is, the tease was obviously very deliberate and something WWE wants fans to be aware of given Rhodes quickly shared it on social media.

It’s long been rumoured that Rhodes will face The Rock at WrestleMania 41.
